One draw back of many geosteering services and softwares is the inability to visualize offset wells in the same view.  StarSteer has allowed NOW to solve these problems.  Unlimited wells from multiple pads, in multiple horizons, or just offsets can be visualized.  This allows for reduced uncertianty in landing and steering, easier planning, and can allow wells stacked in a common reservoir to be effectively executed.

The example shown utilized multiple offset wells to develop a drilling plan for geosteering.  Because nearly 10 wells were used in this plan the operator was given a high level of confidence.  The well was steered easily.
